Summer 2014 cruises

We have just accepted bookings for three very nice short cruises from Scotland, on board our old friend Discovery, but under the new management of Cruise & Maritime Voyages, with whom we have very much enjoyed working in the past. The first is ICELAND AND THE NORTHERN ISLES (D411; 11th-21st July), sailing from Greenock, with stops in the Faroe Isles, Eskifjordur, Akureyri, Isafjordur and Reykjavik in Iceland, Heimaey on the Westmann Islands and Kirkwall in Orkney before returning to Leith. Then there's NORTH CAPE & LAND OF THE MIDNIGHT SUN (D413; 2nd-12th August), sailing from Leith, with stops at Hellesylt, Gravdal on the Lofoten Islands, Hammerfest, Honningsvag, Tromso and Alesund in Norway – a cruise we always enjoy. Finally there's a short trip to MAJESTIC FJORDLAND (D414; 12th-19th August), also from Leith, with visits to Andalsnes, Olden, Flam and Eidfjord in Norway to see the very best of the fjords.
