"Saving Species" – Nov 2010

Added on 29 October 2010

I was on the island of Islay on 25th and 26th October, looking (amongst other things) at the amazing populations of Greenland white-fronted and barnacle geese that spend the winter there.

The resulting report will be on Saving Species on BBC Radio 4 at 11am on Tuesday 2nd, repeated 9pm on Thursday 4th November.

We recorded lots more really interesting material while we were there (culminating in a magnificent fly-past of 25 chough) that might be broadcast next year on Radio 4.
